The amazing Colchester anti loo roll brigade set up during the first lockdown of 2020 has had much success in its first year celebrating its first birthday on the 15th March 2021 organiser and founder Peter Dutch said it is amazing what we have achieved in just a year of the anti-roll brigade from rebuilding a house that caught fire to supplying hundreds and hundreds of meals for NHS workers as well as a Santa Christmas floats lots of fundraising and helping people out from getting prescriptions to doing their food shopping the launch of our festival in 2021 to celebrate the people of Colchester and how they have helped each other through the pandemic is a really exciting project for me and is taking place in Colchester lower Castle Park on Saturday the 11 September 2021 it will have lots of music, bands and will feature several tents including the main stage and a cabaret tent which will feature comedians magicians entertainers drag acts singers also on sites we will have stall holders from some of the organisations that we partner with. Mark Slade from Anti Loo Roll Brigades Festival sponsor csh environmental said that they are really pleased and happy to be supporting the event with a capacity of up to 6000 people the Castle Park can really benefit the people of Colchester at this event with this fundraising festival our dedicated website antiLollFestival.co.uk has all the information on the event and also is where sponsors corporate sponsors volunteers stallholders can all sign up to be involved on the day as well as the box office for purchasing tickets this will be a ticket only event and will hopefully become an annual event
